What an epic day we had on June 13th for our 3rd annual colour run!
We had a fantastic turn out and the sun shone for us. After such a wet and windy week, we had our fingers crossed and we were very lucky with the weather. We had a lot of stallholders arrive selling their goodies, the totally amazing 1st Park Gate Sea Scouts cooked all the BBQ food and had a long queue all afternoon.
The race was opened by the Mayor of Fareham, and she stayed around to hand out the medals to the runners.
The Staff race was well supported, and the whole course was lined with children and parents throwing paint as we ran past. Mr Jones was superfast and tried to dodge the paint but ended up well covered in paint!
Mr Jones and Ms Newman were dunked in gunge at the end (they volunteered) and what great sports they were.
Thank you to everyone that came and supported the event, we will be able to let everyone know very soon how much was raised.
