Year 6 Football Team Success

12 March 2025 - Park Gate are now official winners of the Fareham Cup! We came back from 3-1 with 7 minutes to go with a goal from Oliver and an overhead kick from Max bringing it to 3-3. We then won on sudden death penalties!!! With Caleb the goalkeeper taking the winning penalty. The team were just awesome as always. 

    

 

The Football Team 2025-2026

  

Our football team is made up of Year 5 & Year 6 children who are playing in the Fareham Schools League this season. Mr Jones has a large squad of players to select a team from due to a massive turnout at the trials, and we are wishing them all the best of luck for a successful season of football. 

The Cross Country Team

Mrs Greenfield has a team of cross country runners made up from Year 3, 5 & 6. If any children want to join the team from KS2 please speak to Mrs Greefield as she would love to extend the team. They run at Portsdown Hill on Friday's after school. 

     

 

The Cricket Team

Children from Y3, Y4 and Y5 represented Park Gate at a cricket festival on 8th July 2025 playing against schools from across Hampshire. The children were amazing at supporting and encouraging each other throughout. Undefeated in the group stage, they played a great semi-final match against Sarisbury Green, where we were knocked out. Well done Park Gate.
