Something very peculiar happened in Year 3 at the start of this term!

The children noticed that there was a strange collection of metallic objects scattered around The Whispering Garden. There was even foil hanging from the sun shades! The children had many fantastic ideas about what character or creature could have left these mysterious things! After starting our class text, The Iron Man by Ted Hughes, the children now think that maybe it was him who visited our school!

The children have made some amazing Iron Man models as their homework assignment, and we are so proud of their creativity.

In conclusion to the Iron Man project, Year 3 have shown off their work to the Year 4 children. It is such a delight to see the older children supporting the younger children, a true display of the Park Gate Way.
